Q. What Can I Expect To Pay For A Wedding Cake? Do you have a price list?

Because each cake is completely custom made, and priced individually by the complexity of their design, we do not have a standard price list. Sometimes a smaller cake may take longer to create than a larger one and therefore, can be priced higher per slice.

Wedding cake/Multiple tiered cakes start at $4 per serving for a plain round butter cream-iced cake. Fondant is an extra $1/pp. Our pricing tends to average from $5-8 per serving. Ultimately, the price is based on the complexity of design and the number of people being served. Sheet cakes are available to supplement larger parties.

3D/Sculpted cakes covered in fondant start at $7 per serving. The price quoted is based on how many servings as well as the amount of work involved in creating the piece.

Q. How much are cake tastings, and what do they entail?

Our tastings are $50 and include a variety of cupcakes to sample. A credit card is required to hold your tasting appointment. If you should need to reschedule, or cancel, we ask that you contact us no later than 24 hours in advance. In the event that an appointment is missed or cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointment your credit card will not be refunded.

During the meeting, we will discuss the design of your cake, so please bring any pictures, invitations, etc, that may help us come up with something perfect for your event.

Should you decide to book, the $50 will be deducted from your final bill.

Q. Do you make cupcakes and cookies?

Yes. We do custom designed cupcakes & stands often. Cupcakes start at $2 pp for a plain cupcake with frosting and sprinkles. Decorated sugar cookies start at  $2.50.  Individual Packaging available for an additional cost. Please contact us for additional information.

Italian Cookies are $14/lb.

Q. How do I reserve my date?

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your order; the remainder is due two weeks prior to your event. Your order is not confirmed until we have received your signed contract and deposit.

Q. How far in advance should I order a cake?

We are often booked up many weeks ahead of time so the sooner the better to reserve your place on our calendar. We require a minimum of one month but for weddings we suggest a minimum of six months to one year.

We definitely attempt to accommodate last minute requests if our schedule allows.  Please call or email to find out our availability for your particular date.

Q. How far in advance do you bake the cake?  Do you use Crisco in your frosting?

All of our products are made no more than two days prior (Wedding Cakes), if not the day of your event. We use butter and only butter in our cakes and frostings. (except vegan cakes, of course!)  Everything we prepare is made from scratch with 100% natural ingredients. This is one of the reasons our pricing tends to be just a bit higher than our competitors. Locally sourced and/or organic ingredients are definitely used whenever possible. Come taste the difference!

Q. Do you have a retail store where I can walk in an purchase a cake on he spot?

No, we are by-appointment only shop that specializes in custom cakes, cupcakes and cookies.

Q. What are your hours?

Our hours of operation are based on the amount of orders we have booked, there fore we have no set schedule.
